Well done, I’m especially impressed by the canopy. The frames look really crisp!

Absolutely fantastic Jeff!
I cannot, for the life of me, cut Nitinol wire. I have some I’d love to use, but all I end up doing is bending it, and ruining blades. 😦 What’s your secret?

Thanks Warren! What gauge of Nitenol are you using? I use 0.004″ and 0.005″, I have no trouble cutting that with an Xacto blade on glass.

I’ll look and see when I get home. I don’t have a piece of glass, but was trying to use a flat piece of Plexiglas to cut it.

If there is any flex or “give” to the surface it will work against you. A ceramic tile would work as well.

Another beauty, mate. Well done! Do you shoot the Mr Surfacer 1000 neat or thinned? I’ve got some 500 and 1200 but I’m not sure when and how to use them.

Thanks Chen! I usually cut the Mr. Surfacer 1000 with 50% lacquer thinner, then apply the 500 with a brush on problems areas.
