Thanks for these Jeff. Note the difference between the wing with primer where the de-icer boots go, and the overhead shot showing no primer. I’m assuming the overhead shot is later in the production runs and perhaps primer was eliminated from this area?
Also, not the medium green camo on the leading edge of the P-40 wings.

I saw that, agree that it was likely eliminated later in production as the primed wing was definitely early in production.
