  1. Nice to see the Air Force recognizing the 345th BG. I’ll know they’ve really done their research and want to tell a good story when I see them restore a glass-nose B-25 from the 57th Bomb Wing on Corsica, the guys who actually ended the war in Italy when they cut off the German Army’s supplies in the Brenner Pass campaign in the winter of 1944-45. It’s hard to find anything where the Air Force recognizes that, since it’s the only bombing campaign in Europe they were involved in that accomplished anything – at the cost of the Air Force actually doing something to support the Army, which is against the law to the Shade-84 Chair Farce.
