This is the Special Hobby Seversky P-35A in the markings of 1Lt. Boyd “Buzz” Wagner, 17th PG, Nichols Field, Philippines, Spring 1941. Wagner would go on to be credited as the first USAAC ace in the Second World War. The NMUSAF P-35 has been restored in these markings.
