They were going to go back into production at one point but I think the deal fell through. It would be a fun aircraft to own if you had the money!

Another aircraft that is little known; wondering why it was never mentioned (as far as I know) in WW II ops, I looked it up on Wiki. Seems only its limited range, (640 mi) and small numbers prevented a more prominent role.

There were several types pressed into the coastal patrol role at the beginning of the war, not a lot of glamour but still important.

There were several variations, and many are still flying today. It would be a fun choice if you could have a real one!
