Nat history Jeff. If you’re ever in my neck of the woods, you need to stop by the museum at Fort Campbell and see their WACO glider. It was found in a barn in Ohio if memory serves. Nicely displayed so you can go inside of it.

It would be great to see the interior! The Kalamazoo Air Zoo has a nice WACO but you can’t see inside.

i note the Dutch flag on the helmets of the troops in pictures #3 & 7. How large was the Dutch glider/parachute force?

I couldn’t find anything on a Dutch unit of any size other than the Princess Irene Brigade, and it appears to have had issues keeping up to strength. If I had to guess, these might be P.I.B. troops undergoing training, not separate para / glider troops. If you find out different, please let me know!
