Thankfully BlizzCon 2026 did not live up to its name this year and there were no problems getting to the show. For many modelers in Region 4 this is the first show of the year and therefore is much anticipated after the Winter doldrums. The show was well attended with some outstanding work on display on the tables, all genres and scales were represented. My wallet was surviving well until the end of the show when a few venders announced what items they had left were half off. Turns out this is a very effective selling strategy and six kits and eleven books went home with me while my Dollars went home with the vendors. Lunch was fish and chips at the Old Bag of Nails Pub, this is becoming a regular part of the experience. Judging was very efficient and over by 3:00, IPMS Columbus has got the judging down to a well-oiled machine. A great show and great opportunity to catch up with friends plus a very welcome day out!
