O.K. Great. awesome. But seriously – Nestled in the opening of the left steering “wheel” an image of a suspiciously swept wing jet aircraft on a B-25 instrument guage???

Yes, I doubt there is anything original left on many flying warbirds. Best to take anything on a restored aircraft with a grain of salt. Having said that, I am becoming more and more convinced that we modelers spend way too much time getting every little detail right in a cockpit which is difficult to see under the best of conditions. That is especially true in the smaller scales where I work.
